We’ve finally posted some National photos on Facebook at Finally posting some National photos. No podium placements, but we are very proud of the 5 TeamSk8 members who qualified and went to Nationals. Belen skated Elementary A Figures as well as WS Espoir Solo with only 2 years of dance experience, Amelia skated Freshman A Figures and WS Cadet Singles with only 2 years of skating lessons 🥳 and my little sweetie, Radhe, skated WS Tots and Primary figures (with acceptable 3 turns) with only 8 months of skating period. Whenever possible, we’re going to skate World Skate events, just for the detailed evaluation of skating progress and skills that need further development. Of course, no event is complete without an adventure. I was briefly stranded in Chicago when Amtrak had scheduling problems, but the club parents came to the rescue and sent a plane ticket and an airport pickup that got me to Lincoln just in time for practice and first events.

We’ve taken a breather and are getting back in the saddle for the next round. Got bored kids… we welcome all, with or without skills.
